From Dawn to Dusk... the journal |
Monday, April 8, 2002 * back from San Antonio Arrived back in Dallas yesterday with all the rain. Luckily our flight was not delayed. Sorry it's been so long since I've journaled, but taking care of a 6 month old keeps you a little busy. I could find time to feed, dress, and play with her - as well as wash clothes, cook, and take countless pictures - and we also found time to bring mommy to work, take the car, and spend a day or so shopping and going out to lunch. She's a great little shopper! (and she likes Starbucks and La Madeleine's!) ... but alas, journaling was out of the question. I will try to make amends. We had a wonderful Easter weekend in San Antonio. The weather was great and except for the fact that our oldest son wasn't able to come with his family this time, we enjoyed having most of the family together. Didn't have an Easter Egg Hunt (which is always fun) since older grandkids weren't there and new grand-daughter is a bit young to hunt for eggs. But we basically 'hung out', had a fabulous brunch, ate, drank, and shared the day together - half inside, half outside... on the new deck. Now that I'm home, will have to 'catch up' on reading all the journals and email I've missed in the last week. It may take me a while... Rian |
