* sharing a life...

Enjoying the company of my grand-daughter today.  We didn't know each other for the first 7-8 years of her life as my son did'n t know her mother then.  Now we are trying to make up for lost time.  This is the first time she has been able to visit me on her own (they live in a different city).

Today we got up early and she joined me for my morning walk.  Then we went out for a pancake breakfast, then some shopping.  We talked and were able to get to know each other a little bit.  Later we looked at old photo albums and practiced a little knitting and crocheting.

At the moment she's working on my other computer while I journal on this one.  We're also waiting for a pizza to be delivered.  It's been a rather nice day.

We also released more Gulf Frittilary butterflies.  They have been emerging in masses... released 5 yesterday!

This evening we hope to walk to the Stables down the street so she can see the horses....
