Sunday, February 24, 2002 * my Home Page has disappeared!**%!$$! Somehow, somewhere, sometime - this always happens! I have to say that it's lasted a lot longer on this website, but it always eventually disappears into cyberspace... I started this journal here at Homestead on April 23, 2000 when my last journal disappeared. I believe I named that entry "Beginning Again". This is a problem as all my links to my Home Page will now go to a blank page... and my number count will have been lost for good. I do have a backup of my Home Page which can be re-instated, but I'm not exactly sure of how to do this and still have the same address. Guess I could just edit the blank page and download the backup? Will have to check this out... and I guess my count will have to start all over as well as my guest book. This is so-ooo aggravating! I have emailed Homestead.com to see if there is any way that they can get it back up, but so far haven't heard. I can't believe that it just disappears like that. I know that I didn't delete it; I don't even go to that site that often. Oh well, maybe someone's telling me that it's time I created a new Home Page... Here's a few pics to make today's journal a little more interesting than just my ranting... Spent part of my day backing up the rest of my journal in case more of it takes a sudden urge to wander off during the night.... Rian |
