Thursday, February 28, 2002 * delay in journaling This will be a short entry as it's actually March 1st when I'm writing this. Homestead put in a new property yesterday, the ability to work on your site offline. This may be a great idea, but for some reason it wouldn't let me work on my site online at all yesterday. I'm grateful to be able to get on today. But it does make it necessary to journal twice today. I'd skip it altogether for the 28th except that I'd already created the page and the format, but hadn't written any words yet. Can't just delete a perfectly good format...?? So, let's see. What shall I talk about? Haven't any good recent photos to post. Maybe I'll look through some old photo files and see if there's anything of interest. Now these are "old". This is good. Taken in 1967 when DH and I were still at LSU. We got married not long after these pictures were taken. Now 3 kids, 2 grandchildren, and 35 years later... it's still good. Kids are grown and on their own (more or less), we both have less hair, and a few more pounds, but all in all, we're still basically the same people that got engaged on that log down by the Mississippi River all those years ago. Well, enough of memory lane... however, it did give me something to post here. Rian *Request: Since my Home Page is NEW again... I sure would appreciate it if some of you would go there and sign my guest book since I lost all the former signatures when the old home page disappeared. Thanks! |
