* playing around...

How do you like this format?  Could be my 'summer' format...  I'm just playing around with some of the new elements available while waiting for the explanation from Homestead as to why some of my old elements have been zapped.

This vine bricked top reminds me a little of my own backyard so I thought I'd give it its day in the sun.

Today is a good day.  Let me rephrase that.  This day turned out to be a good day.  This morning and yesterday weren't so great. This week the President and I shared the same medical testing fate.  Thank god that's over.  And the results were good.  Our family history requires that routine testing be done every few years.  So I'm good for another 3-5 years here. And I'm good for every 6 months on the other (BC).

It's odd.  I was reading somewhere an article written by another BC Survivor and she was saying how devastating it was in the beginning. Then as time goes on, everything goes back to normal - but it's a different normal.  And I thought, 'how true'.

Now I look at things differently and I live my life the same - but different...kind of in 6month/5yr increments.  But you come to accept it as normal... and it is... now.

Tried to take some pics of Thibbadeaux playing with bubbles, you know the kind you blow (kids' toy thing).  He and Molly love to run and jump and pop them.  It's so funny when a buuble pops on his nose and it makes him sneeze. Couldn't get any good ones of Thib jumping up in the air and swatting them before they hit the ground, but got a few of him jumping them on the floor.

Well, will try to write again tomorrow.  But if not, here's wishing everyone a safe happy 4th!
