* a truism...

Was reading another journalist site on Autumn Leaves and came across this quote given to her by a friend...

"You know, children are such amazing creatures. Just about the time you think you're going to throw them in the trash, they smile."

and I thought, 'how true...'

My first child didn't smile until he was almost 3 months... but the memory of that smile is embedded on my heart forever.  Watching Baby B smile does the same...lights up something inside me... so strange our involuntary reactions.  Needless to say, my grandson would invoke the same reaction.  I just don't get to see that smile too often.

Hope everyone had a nice Sunday.  Ours was quiet and except for finishing my last book, taking some photos outside of the Hyacinth Bean vine, and sleeping the afternoon away,  not much was accomplished.  But then, it is Sunday.
