* 56th birthday

Strange morning.  Woke up feeling good.  I made it to my 56th birthday.  This is good.  Don't mean to sound melodramatic, but just feels good. That's all.  Gail (my sister) just barely made it to 50, and Bill (my brother) got to 59.

People aren't supposed to talk about things like this.  It makes others uncomfortable.  But I think you should - or I should.  I know full well that I could live to be 100, after all - people do.  But I don't think so.  Don't even think I would want to...

And another thing!  My first Gulf Frittilary Butterfly emerged this morning!! So beautiful... he flew off into the sunshine, landed on a tree branch and sat there soaking in the sunshine.  I love it.

Going to try to start my "Favorite Quotes" section of my website today.  So, if interested, check out the Archives tomorrow.

Adding a picture of an Old World Rose here.
