I didn't journal yesterday.  Kids came over and brought me a Disney nightshirt for my B-day - with Mickey Mouse holding a huge cup of coffee and with sleepy eyes saying, "Mornings make me smile".  Now they said that this "looked like me" . so I didn't ask if it was Mickey, the coffee, the sleepy eyes or the saying.  Decided it might be better not to know.

It's been a pretty good weekend.   Hubby and I hit the bookstores Saturday, Barnes and Noble and Borders, and  worked in the yard a bit.  Released two more butterflies - one was not a Gulf Fittilary but don't know what it was.  This Passion Vine must be very suductive.  It has been the refuge of three species so far.

Planted some "Moon flower" seeds.  Will see how they do.  They are night bloomers, just like my Night Blooming Jasmine, which I dearly love.  I'll have to post a picture of one of those flowers (they're gorgeous! - remind me of "white doves" and have the most indescribable aroma...).

Have noticed quite a few hits on all my sites lately.  This is always a nice surprise.  Even have people asking to be notified of new entries.  Such an honor.  I  also found a few new websites where writers can post stories.  One is called  Authorsden.com and the other is called Goob?...  now, I forget - have to check this one out again.

Once I get more of my act together, I will add links to other writer's web sites as well.  I did post 2 stories, "Odd Little Duck" (children's story) and "Summers in the South" (Memoir of my childhood summmers) on Authors Den.

Well, enough for today.  Need to work on Favorite Quotes section and maybe do the Mystery pic thing?  Check Photo Gallery to find out more about Mystery pic....

From Dawn to Dusk...
the journal  (of the white horse)
This is a picture of Molly (inside) and Rose (outside).  They are still cautious of each other, but are getting better.  If I open the back door, Rose will run in and Molly will freeze.  Then as Rose comes closer (she wants to touch noses), Molly will hiss.  If I tell her that she can go outside (which she loves to do) while Rose is inside, she looks at me - then - very slowly sidesteps Rose and goes out.  So, see- things are improving!
