Monday, June 3, 2002 * have a new site Was checking out diaryland.com and decided to take advantage of their free site. Not sure if I will use it for journaling or just for more exposure, but maybe it's an alternate for those who for some reason or other have trouble getting this site... I have started posting my journal to my blog site for this very reason and if you're on my Notify List (which is at the bottom of my Home Page), you may have noticed the additional URL added recently. And I have found that sometimes things do get lost in cyberspace, so it doesn't hurt to have a few alternative areas on hand. ~~~~~~~~~~~ Spent part of the morning trying to identify the blonde hairy caterpillars that my DIL brought over this weekend. Going to post a picture that I just took of one here and on a caterpillar/butterfly/moth web site and see if it is one of the 'wooly bear' types. If by any chance anyone out there recognizes it, please let me know. I don't want to let them loose without knowing what they are, but I also don't want them to starve. I've been putting in a variety of leaves gathered from my area for them to munch on... but would like to know exactly what they eat as most are pretty specific. Well, what do you think? As caterpillars go, he's kind of cute and fuzzy... Well, so much for Monday! Rian |
