From Dawn to Dusk... the journal

Sunday, June 3, 2001 * factual info Did you know that on this "homestead.com" site, when you put your cursor over a graphic - that it will usually give you a message?   Try it.  Put your cursor on the coffee cup that appears over my title here and on every journal page... See?  I've been inviting you to coffee daily - well, almost daily.  Since it has become my habit to read other journals along with my morning cuppa, I thought it would be nice to virtually invite you to have a cuppa while you read mine.   (Unfortunately I have decided to change my format to a simpler one - this notebook effect - and will lose the coffee cup in future journaling - so better drink up!) On other pages the graphics also have something to say.  Nothing terribly important, but always a little something... I have recently activated both my Photo Gallery page and my Digital Fun page.  Again neither is astounding, but just a further attempt to share my world with you  - virtually of course. I'm still learning as I go along.  While trying to add "Next Entry" this week I lost one journal page - May 1st...  Since I haven't as yet learned how to back up my sites, I'm afraid it's gone forever.  I also need to figure out how to do a calendar archive instead of the running dates on my Archive page.... but give me time!  I'll figure it out.  However, I'm not adverse to any advice.  So email me if you can give me any hints.
