* quandry...

I read somewhere the question (and I'm paraphrasing here),
"When you leave this earth, what is it that you'd most like to leave behind as your legacy?" and "What would you most like to take with you from this life?"

Is the answer "love" too simple, too obvious, too...? Maybe it's the semantics.  Maybe we need another word for love

It further stated that once you've answered this question, then you need to think how best to go about achieving this...

I found this really good 'food for thought'.

I would think that if the answer is love, then the best way to go about achieving it would be to "give of ourselves" more.. and certainly won't go into the how as most people are so busy already in today's world that the answer doesn't come easy. But perhaps it could  involve only a change in perception?

For some, leaving behind a legacy of love may mean a strong emotional memory of good times, for others (say an Architect or an Artist) it may be something tangible like a building or a painting...

but it all involves giving.

Again, even this answer seems too obvious... must be more involved. But maybe not.  Maybe the simple, obvious answers are the right ones.  Maybe we tend to over analyse and complicate things.

Something to think about...
