From Dawn to Dusk... the journal |
Thursday, March 28, 2002 * Happy Easter to all! With the family getting together all next week, I doubt if I will have time to journal. So, in case I'm not available, please know that I will return ASAP. Life will go on... while I play with grandbabies, down chocolate Easter eggs, and enjoy Spring... at least this is 'the plan'. It should give me ample opportunity to stock up on family photos. My kids, as adults, hate picture taking - because their Mom is always snapping away. Lucky for them there are now grandbabies around to pick up the slack... little innocents who came into this world with the flashes popping... and probably wouldn't know what to do if there weren't 'bright flashes of light' around them at all times. I've told the family my 'secret'... if you're the photographer, you're never (or almost never) on the other side of the camera. One day my grandchildren will say, "Where's Me-Maw?" and "How come there's no pictures of Me-Maw?" and they'll all have to say that Me-Maw was taking the pictures... and secretly, from where-ever I am, I'll be smiling.
