*  one doctor down...

Today I started my 6 month "doctors round-robin" which means that I see all the "regulars", one a week for the next 3 weeks.  For a while it was every 3 months, but my Oncologist gave me the option of 3 or 6.  Guess which I picked?

Anyway, today was the first.  Exam went OK, tests results will take a few days.  All in all, she said that I seemed fine.  We talked about my diet.  She said that she didn't want me getting thin, that at my age, a few extra pounds are usually a good thing, especially for bone density(?). Is sending me for a bone density test... (Did ask me if I still didn't want to take the Tamoxifen.  I said no, I still didn't want to take it.)

Next week it's the Specialist.  He'll do an exam and we'll talk, then he'll decide whether to do Sonograms, Cat Scans, MRI's, Chest X-rays, etc. We will do the Mammogram and I will ask him about that new Full Body MRI.  My list of questions are ready for him.  The answers I probably already know: "Results of Radiation..."  If this is true, then that is good news. If it's not the result of Radiation... then I don't know.

Then last, but not least, it'll be the Oncologist (the vampire - this one always wants blood).  It'll be bloodwork, exam, and talk.  I will reiterate my questions to him and hopefully he will  give me my bill of health for the next 6 months.

Such goes my month...

ending in Easter where I get to see my sweet baby again!

Thanks for reading...
