Sunday, May 19, 2002 * Sunday morning coming down... Remember that old song about a sleepy Sunday morning... can't exactly remember the words just the concept that after Saturday, as nice as Sundays are... sometimes they're too quiet. Baby B just left. Not sure that I got enough of my 'baby fix'... time went by awfully fast from Friday to Sunday. Baby Shower went off nicely yesterday. Weather was beautiful - cool and sunny. We were able to eat outside at tables in the backyard. Didn't think we were going to be able to do this since it rained Friday and the yard was a little wet, but it turned out well. "Mama to be" looked great. Some people look really good when they're with child. And she was on "good behavior" so I don't have anything funny to report... Baby is due at the end of June. So now we're just in waiting mode... which is kind of fun in itself. Mama to be's Mama was here as well as her Mama in law - so the women of the clan are beginning to gather... Going to say goodnight now as it's getting late. Hope everyone had as nice a weekend as we did - with family, good food, good friends and great weather! Rian |
