"Never bear more than one trouble at a time. Some people bear three kinds - all they have had, all they have now, and all they expect to have." - Edward Everett Hale
Picked up this quote recently on an Internet Quotation site. Some of my own favorites can be found here.
But don't you just love words? You don't have to be a writer or a poet or any type of English Professional to enjoy words... or phrases... or quotations. One of my favorites is "wafting" - the dictionary says
wafting: to carry over water or through air or to transport or transfer very quickly or as if by magic...
It has a kind of magical sound to it, doesn't it? - "endlessly wafting'" - like it belongs in one of the Harry Potter books...
Well, that's my entry for tonight. It's late and I have to get up early. If you're saying, "She's a weird one"... that's OK. I probably am.
