* life and cats...

Well, I'm back.  Went down to Houston for a bit to visit family.  It was fun.  At the moment, everyone is well.  Life is good.  God, I love being a grandmother.  It seems to be one of those pleasant surprises that life springs on you unexpectedly.  Or perhaps like so many things, you just have to experience it to understand.

Anyway, I'm back for a short time, then off again... so there probably won't be a lot of entries in the next few days.  But I'll catch up eventually.

The weather has been beautiful (except for our little tornado episode Sunday night).  Teela and Molly are dying to get outside.  But they aren't allowed out unless someone is with them ever since Teela (all four and a half pounds of her) was pounced on by a stray last year.

A visit to the Vet and about $150 later, she was fine.   Now they both go out on the weekends when we're working in the yard. Roll around in the catnip, chase bugs, lie in the sun.... that sort of thing.  Things Thibbadeaux (our alpha male - wus that he is) is not interested in.  He watches from his windowsill inside and wants nothing to do with the outside world.

Pictures of Thibbadeaux and Teela are in the album on my Home Page.  I really haven't a good picture of Molly.  I could put a few here, but Molly is not photogenic.  She either yarns or turns her head when the camera clicks..

See what I mean?  But she is such a sweetheart... purrs constantly and loves to be cuddled.  If there's a lap around, Molly wants in it.

Well, going to call it a night. Hope to get to some real writing soon - at least post some of my stories and poems by next week...

Night all!
