* strange happenings...

Awoke Wedneday night with my skin burning hot.  Got up to get some water and looked at my arms and chest... very red and extremely hot.  Decided I must be having a reaction to the antibiotics?  Put cool washcloths on my skin and went back to bed.

In the morning the rash was faded, but still warm.  Went in to see the doctor.  Told me to get off the antibiotic.

Asked me if I did or ate anything different yesterday.  Told him that I was at the dentist's, had my night-guard made, and wore it for the first
time last night.

He said it's possible that I'm allergic to the chemicals they used to fit it. (They did smell and taste awful - kind of like acetone or nail polish remover - didn't seem to be something you wanted to inhale or have in your mouth) or that I'm allergic to the rubber or latex or plastic it's made out of.

But as far as I know, I've never had a problem with this before - and have had doctors use rubber or latex things around me in the past - maybe not directly in my mouth...

Anyway, surfice to say that I'm off the antibiotic, and won't wear the night-guard. In a few days, I'll retry the night-guard and see...

Today I'm fine... even throat is better. No antibiotics, no night-guard - no nothing!

On a happier note, Baby B will be One Year old this weekend!  I'm so excited!  We will have a party and take pics - which I will post (oh, let me post at least one?)  It's a grandmother's priviledge, yes?

Oh, check out Rose on the right there.  It's the log holder, but she's decided it's her personal hammock.
