*  home again...

Just back from short weekend in San Antonio for Baby B's first birthday. It was great - short, but sweet.  It's amazing how fast time passes.  Seems like it was just yesterday that I was putting her Birth Announcement up on my website.  Guess that's how the world turns...
faster
by the day.

Here's a quick pic:

She's walking... almost running, riding her tyke bike, and eating finger food.  I guess that's a lot for only one year old...  Her birthday cake was a giant ladybug on a field of grass... and although I'm not sure she knew what all the fuss was about, she seemed to enjoy all the people and gifts.

As for me, I enjoyed it immensely.  Would like to bundle her up and take her home with me.  But right now Mama and Daddy are not ready to part with her even for a short time - and I'm pretty sure that she feels the same.

Now that I'm back, I plan to check into Doug's place,  The Outlook.  He's sent me the directions as to where it's located and I've looked it up on a map of Utah.  So I think I'm almost ready for a visit.  Sounds like a wonderful get-a-way.

I'm back to feeling fine.  The weather has been gorgeous.  It turned cool in San Antonio Saturday night and even cooler on the way back to Dallas Sunday.  So if it stays this way, we may be in for a beautiful Fall.
