I know that Wendy (The Dragon's Lair) can empathize (see August 21, 2002 entry).
Took these yesterday when Thib and Molly were playing while I was on the phone.

"my dear... may I have the honor of this dance?"

"OK... OK!! ...don't cuddle so close..."

after that, they rolled across the floor in a huddle.  Molly eventually gets mad and goes off in a huff.

They keep me laughing.

Not a lot else to say today.  Took Mama to the Eye Doctor's this afternoon.  Her eyes are fine.  She's been complaining about her head hurting a little now and then and thought maybe her glasses needed changing - since we've checked out everything else (ears, brain, heart, BP, etc).

But doc said no, that everything looked fine - and he was very thorough.  He has so many strange machines to check various things about your eyesight.  There's the machine that takes a picture of your eye innards (the one that flashes unexpectantly and makes you see this blue circle for about 30 minutes). Then there's the one that 'spits a puff of air' into your eye (think that's the check for glaucoma). Then one that measures ...something or other.  I always feel like I'm in Star Wars when I go for my eye exams.

Anyway, we decided that Mama's occasional head achiness may be due to  reading for long hours... or it could be sinus?

Ava (From the Edge) sent me some great 'kid stuff' today...  I won't put them all here, but I have to share this one as I thought it was so great (Ava, hope you don't mind?):

A teacher was giving a lesson on the circulation of the blood. Trying to make the matter clearer, she said,  "Now, class, if I stood on my head, the blood, as you know, would run into it, and I would turn red in the face."

"Yes," the class said. "Then why is it that while I am standing upright in the ordinary position the blood doesn't run into my feet?" A little fellow shouted, "Cause your feet ain't empty?"

Now don't we all feel like we know who that little boy grew up to be? I can bet right now that all of us know someone who still makes comments
like that...

Time to close.  Was going to check out the Friday Five... but alas, no time left.  Happy TGIF!!

*  Molly rules!

Have to show this pic as it is probably the best one I've ever gotten of Molly.  As most of you know how hard it is to get a picture of an animal that's mostly
black, you can understand.
