Tuesday, September 10, 2002 * DH's mama is 85!
So happy about this birthday... and every one that comes... as we almost lost her in 2000. They used the paddles on her three times to get her back. That was a strange summer and I won't go there, but every day for her is now a miracle - and we thank God that she is still with us.
Life goes on... despite so much else happening. Guess this is a good thing. It both blesses and humbles us.

Earlier today I went back to my September entries for last year... to see where I was (psychologically) - before 911. Seems I was talking about recipes and cats... on September 10, 2001 (believe Molly was intriqued with a trapped grasshopper) and then doing a little remembering of my childhood on September 11, 2001 - before the first plane crash - later I did a September 11-2 add-on to purge my own system (that may have gone on for days and it's still too soon for a reread - even I don't want to go there right now.)
So, I'm going to pause, reflect, and go on. Hey, It's what works for me.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
On a lighter note... I've come to another discovery! My cats must be English or were the Hobbits Welsh? We were watching DH's DVD, "The Fellowship of the Ring" this weekend (again) and when the little Hobbit mentioned breakfast, 2nd breakfast, elevensies, lunch, tea, etc.... it rang a bell in my head and I thought, oh my god, THAT'S what my cats want, breakfast, 2nd breakfast, elevensies, lunch, tea, etc. And here I was thinking they were just being a pain in the ... when actually they were just being English!
Stupid me (I'm sure that's what they've been thinking all along... she's lovable, but a bit slow...)
Have a good one! Rian
