Wednesday, September 18, 2002 * waiting with bated breath... It's only Wednesday - the middle of the week - and I can't wait for Friday so I can go back to Bailey's Cove. Have been thinking about it a lot and have decided that I will have to be careful or I will be lost forever 'in my mind's eye'... and won't find my way back to the Real World. So here in the Real World today I took Mama to her Bingo this morning and then picked her up and went with her and her friends to eat lunch. I have to say that having lunch with 30 women with varying stages of hearing loss can be quite fun... (and I'm not being sarcastic here). It's just that the conversation seems to jump around a lot... with people answering questions that weren't asked and others not responding to waiters who do (ask that is). Was reading Bonnie's journal today and came across the feet and hand photo projects. These are neat (sorry, saying 'neat' probably dates me). Let's see... these are... 'excellent' (that may be more current). Am thinking about sending pics of my own in. Will have to take them first. I do have one of my injured toe... but that's a little macabre. OK, what else did I do today? I did work some on the 'Newsletter' section of Bailey's Cove. If you haven't noticed, the Navigation Bar at the top will take you to different sections. The Abum will take you to the cast of characters and the Newsletter allows the characters to speak their mind. So far only Thibs and Teela have spoken up. Well, enough for today.
